Assignment Requirements:
How do I write...
The beginning: Start with your hook. Your hook should be a sentence that starts with the three words "When I was..." and then you finish the sentence. For example, you could start "When I was 11..." or "When I was at Disney World...". Then, for the next five sentences, give the setting and set-up your story with where you were and who was with you.
Middle: For this paragraph, give the events. What happened next? What were some of the things that happened leading up to your climax. For example, if you are writing about a broken bone, what are the things that happened right before you broke the bone>
Ending: Put in the climax, the most dramatic event. For example, if you wrote about breaking a bone, the moment you broke the bone should be your climax. Then, talk about what happened after that. How was the problem or situation resolved? What lesson did you learn from your experience.
