Phobias Project
Step 1: Pick three different phobias to research. Use the website fearof.net to begin researching. Click on the phobias and you'll find some information.
Step 2: Research your three phobias. You will need to use at least one other source than fearof.net for full points. Wikipedia does not count as a source. Start with the credible sources listed below.
Healthline Phobias Page- This has information on specific phobias. Make sure to scroll through each of the six pages.
Mayo Clinic - This give a general overview on what phobias are, symptoms and treatments. Read through the pages because it does mention specific phobias.
List of Top Ten Phobias in United States- Shows top ten phobias.
If you are still looking for information, use your phobia as your keyword for your search. Go to google and type in the name of your phobia (ex. astraphobia). Look through the websites and find a credible source (look below if you don't know whether a source is credible).
Is my source reliable/credible?
If your source is credible, you should be able to answer yes to the following questions:
1) Can you identify the author and is the author an expert in the subject?
2) Is there a works cited for the article or do they mention other sources?
